What’s on the agenda for your weekend ahead?

The beau + I will be decorating our newly acquired Noble Fir with lights and plenty of sparkle.
Every year we get a live, 6-foot giant-of-a-tree, from the guys at Delancey Street.

If you don’t know about the Delancey Street Foundation, I encourage you to check out their mission.
I’ve been a supporter for a decade.
I’ve hired their movers more than a few times.
And buy my tree from one of their lots every December.

And if I had endless cash reserves – I would give a big chunk of it to this organization.
It’s powerful. And it changes lives.
The people I’ve met who have been through the program are forever grateful.
Their stories of triumph have moved me to tears.
Seriously.

THIS WEEK’s MISCELLANY

Jada Pinkett Smith sounds off about her daughter’s infamous shaved head. The woman is a shining example of what it means to be a mother. And really? Why are we so worried about the girls’ hair? I say, shave away!

L.A. weather has been a tad rainy and unusually overcast, which has me craving Pho and pork buns. The Slanted Door in SF is a uber-fave of mine. Thanks to this book, I just might be able to bring their goodness home!

Tom Ford. My hero. My level of love for this man, knows no bounds. Perfection at its’ most luxurious.
