Today, my American readers are probably sitting ’round their computers, stuffed from yesterday’s Thanksgiving feast and possibly doing a little pre-Christmas shopping on this Black Friday.
Does anyone else loathe the phrase “Black Friday”? Sounds so morbid?
Why couldn’t they call it Rainbow Friday? That sounds happier.
I digress. I’ve compiled this week’s list of Miscellany for your reading + viewing pleasure. Enjoy!
Grateful for YOU,

THIS WEEK’s MISCELLANY
Eric Ripert dishes with the fabulous Stanley Tucci. I have died and gone to heaven. This is by far, my favorite online series. Well, truth be told, anything with Eric Ripert is my favorite. *wink*
Though I get affirmations and sometimes find them sweet, they always leaving me feeling cheesy or like a failure (when they don’t work). Loved Danielle LaPorte’s take on affirmations!
My biz coach is a total rockstar. When she tells me the secrets to creating a successful entrepreneurial empire . . I listen.
I didn’t indulge in the Thanksgiving feasting yesterday as I’m on a post-cleanse eating regiment. This stew looks like just thing to keep me warm + satisfied this weekend (though I’d switch out the veggies so it’s a tad more seasonal).
I am a longtime fan of The Sartorialist’s fashionable street photos. This one, for whatever reason, really captured my eye this week.
To say I love this magazine is an understatement. Their holiday gift guide is equally as lovable.
48 Things to be Grateful for. A soulful and comprehensive (and beautiful) list.
They are one of the most delectable bean-to-bar chocolate factories around today. The chocolate is complex, rich and delightful. From packaging to quality to mission + message ~ I’m a huge fan. Dandelion is where it’s at.
Peep this great video highlighting their philosophy + work.
Grace Coddington has been a creative force of nature in the fashion industry for 50 years. 50 YEARS!? It’s pretty remarkable. Her fashion spreads for Vogue have brought me to tears on more than one occasion. She is a legend. And a creative genius.
The downside of gratitude. Why the whole “gratitude” thing isn’t just for hippy-dippy, self-help-y people. It’s for YOU too!
