Kate Ellen is the jewelry designer of her eponymous line, Kate Ellen Metals, based out of Oakland California. She works in her lofted studio above her flagship jewelry boutique and art gallery, Crown Nine, in the heart of Oakland’s historic downtown. A former social worker and educator, Kate Ellen loves to draws dots between seemingly unrelated things to bring new meaning. She is currently obsessed with discovering hidden gems in Oakland, trail running, road trips, the radio, entrepreneurship, and living a creative life.
