Jewelry Designer
It all started for Christy Natsumi in a glitzy department store in the heart of Tokyo where her grandmother had taken her to pick out a piece of jewelry for her 10th birthday. But it wasn’t until 15 years later in a weekend metalsmithing class that she fell in love — both with her husband-to-be and with the process of making the shiny jewels she had adored all her life. When she isn’t refining her modern designs with edgy touches in her gem box-sized studio in San Francisco, she can be found taking multiple dance breaks and planning her next travel adventure.
