Miscellany-Image-TheGirlWhoKnows_0113

This might be one of those weekends.

The kind that I remember for the rest of my life.
My beautiful 96-year old grandma has reached her final days here on Earth.
I’m sure at some point I’ll do a “what I’ve learned” post about her and all the wonderful lessons she taught me.
But for now, I’m in Salt Lake City, staying with family, we’re sharing our memories of her and grieving together.

I put together today’s Miscellany for you, and for me.
Because I needed some distractions. Some beauty amidst the pain of life.
Some MAJOR funny.
I hope it brightens your weekend.

Enjoy yourself and have some FUN this weekend, mkay?
And one more thing . . .
Tell your family you love them today.

THIS WEEK’s MISCELLANY

Want.
Shopping fashionable ladies closets? Kind of genius.
I want to be a sea nymph.
My genius designer + programmer have teamed up to create even more magic for your brand. Fancy a fancy new website? These are your girls!
These two make me laugh. Love this interview.
LOVE this illustrators work. Cats + Ninjas + Zombie’s. Oh my!
Can’t stop listening to this song.
The trailer for my friend Doug’s new film, starring Kate Bosworth, directed by Kat Coiro. How beautiful is this?
Crocheted sushi? Yes please.
A great response to the tragedy in Boston.
Here’s how you can help Bostonians, no matter where you live.
You are more beautiful than you think. This video was making the rounds this week. What do you think of it?
There’s a Fab sale. On my absolute favorite Gluten Free flour. It’s the best out there. A must try (as is their waffle/pancake mix which isn’t on sale).
One of my biz heroes Chris Guillebeau, fresh off his last challenge of seeing the world (for now), just released a brand new program for people who want to kickstart their businesses. The branding is reason enough to check it out. Love it!
Oh Japan. I’m coming for you. Soon. And when I do, I can’t wait to stand beneath this massive beauty.
What a handy dandy little bicycle contraption. :)
These eerily moving photos capture one young man’s journey with depression. It’s beautiful to see pain manifested in way that can touch and move others. Stunning.
And then there’s this. I adore this kiddo!
