It’s Friday!!!

I don’t normally get this excited about Friday’s, but today is extra special.
My friend just arrived yesterday from Toronto.
We haven’t seen each other in 3+ years. So the reunion is long overdue.
She’s here for a week and we have a jam-packed schedule of lunches, dinners and coffee shop dates.
I’m so happy!
She couldn’t have come at a more perfect time.

Last weekend was tough. I spent a few days with family in Utah.
To see my ailing grandma (she has cancer).
I’m trying to focus on all the wonderful memories I have with her.
But when you’re losing someone, even the best memories can get clouded over with grief.

Needless to say, having some FUN here at home will be a welcome distraction!
