 | When I think about Stephanie Watanabe these words come to mind: integrity, taste, honesty and humanity. I finally got my wish to work with her on a music video last year and we came up with a concept that was challenging to say the least. As a producer she was the epitome of grace under fire, always sans ego and with great respect to the other talented crew and cast. It was truly one of my favorite projects and I’m very proud of what we accomplished. And even more, it’s one of the best sets I’ve worked on.
Stephanie shows great passion, intellect and vision in everything she does which is why I still have a fantasy of pulling her back into the feature film land some day. Until then, I will settle for sharing the first row of a Tom Ford fashion show in New York anytime!

 | Now I’m not saying that I’m completely helpless when it comes to my occupation but I have moments…a lot of moments…where I may question where things are going or where they are. Every time that’s happened I’ve called Stephanie. She motivates people. Every time I get off the phone with her, I feel like I’ve gained a new wind to go out and take on the world.
She’s been a friend, mentor and teacher and has always been completely honest, sometimes telling me things I don’t really want to hear, but always telling me what I NEED to hear in order to move forward. As a teacher Stephanie instilled in all of us, the integrity needed to be a filmmaker / producer and what it would take if we wanted to be truly successful professionals.
